What is Feathers?
Feathers pay on a fixed timer that does not care which bird you are or which biome you stand in. The rate dates to the November 16, 2018 update. The cap rose from 5,000 to 10,000 on April 4, 2020. At the current rate the cap is 50 hours of active time. Earning pauses at 10,000 until you spend. GoldenAviary has said Feathers cannot be bought with Robux, gifted, or traded. The developer has also mentioned a possible future increase to the passive rate. Until a patch says otherwise, plan on 5 per 90 seconds.

How do you get Feathers?
Stay active in a server. Roblox drops idle clients after about 20 minutes without input, so a muted idle window eventually stops the timer.
How do you use Feathers?
Open the feather icon and unlock species. Modern birds run from a handful of Feathers into the hundreds. Fossil and special morphs run from 1,000 to 5,000. Pass creatures are not in this shop.
