Read this before an old video
The Roblox experience page, updated October 9, 2026, still titles the latest named patch Burrowing Owl. A detailed log dates those notes to October 2, 2026. Both describe the same change list. Neither list says the October 16 Vulture skin is already in the game.

The longer log also gives Ravens the Mimic action, renames conservation filters from Abundant to Least Concern and from Threatened to Vulnerable, and lists fixes for swim-on-land after being carried, controller color sliders, flight-to-climb grabs, and paused loading.

GoldenAviary's group post: individual part painting, asymmetrical colors, screenshot mode in the editor, VIB textures Ice, Marble, and Brick, markings wavy stripes, diamonds, and tips, markings on beak and legs, and saves raised from 16 to 48 (24 palettes and 24 designs). Players can request to copy someone else's colors.

Do not buy a "vulture code" or a named December creature. Those names are not in the official text yet.
2026 additions worth knowing
The year's log is a species-a-fortnight pace. Highlights that change how you play, not just the roster:
- February 6: Undo and Redo in the customizer. February 20: Encyclopedia, search, and 10 favorite slots.
- March 6: scientific names in the encyclopedia. March 20: Spring Egg Festival decor; begging chicks.
- April 17: Climb for zygodactyl feet and wing claws (woodpeckers, parrots, toucans, raptors).
- May 1: overhead emotes. May 15: squirrel and lizard prey. May 29: spiders except on Ice Mountain.
- June 12 through August 7: swimming recode, flood weather, Sanctuary remodel, offspring that follow underwater.
- August 21: Beak action. Hold B on keyboard or Xbox, or Circle on PlayStation.
